Mandatory CDC Concussion Awareness training for BAYS travel coaches

Beginning fall 2012, BAYS requires that all BAYS (travel) coaches complete a mandatory concussion awareness training course prior to coaching a team. WAYS fully supports concussion awareness and this BAYS training requirement. We recommend that you complete it ASAP if you have not do so already.

About the Heads Up Course
  • This is a CDC produced training course, easy to follow, and very informative.
  • This training can be done on any computer and takes roughly 30- 40 minutes to complete.
Note: If you leave the session, your previous work will not be saved and you will have to start over.
  • There are questions to answer throughout the course. At the end, there will be a final list of questions, and when you are done, a certificate will pop up.
  • Type your name in the “Awarded to” field, save the certificate as a PDF file, and/or print it. (We recommend both.) Note: once you log out your information will NOT be saved.
  • Upon completion, forward your certificate to the
